A woman with the initials FP (25) is suspected of being a victim of rape and abuse on the side of the Jakarta-Merak toll road on Thursday (9/2/2023) in the morning.
The victim was found by members of the Highway Guard and Patrol (PJR) Korlantas Polri who were patrolling around the toll road on Friday morning.
“A woman aged (around) 20 years asked for help from officers, allegedly (victim) of abuse and rape,” said Main Head of PJR Bitung Korlantas Polri AKP Suwito, Friday (10/2/2023).
According to Suwito, the victim admitted to being raped by a man she had just met and then left her in the bushes.
The victim was lured by a laptop
Separately, Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, Ipda Galih, said that initially on February 8 at around 21.00 WIB, FP said goodbye to his parents and admitted that he wanted to go on a trip to Bogor, West Java.
Apparently, FP wanted to meet someone he just met who said his name was Dika. They met at Sudirman Station, Central Jakarta.
Dika then invited FP to come with him to a shop in the Grogol area. Dika promised to buy a laptop for FP if he complied.
“Then the victim and the perpetrator went to Grogol, but it turned out that the shops were closed,” he explained, Friday (10/2/2023).
The perpetrator then took the victim to the Kota Tua area and introduced him to the perpetrator’s friends who work as buskers.
“At around 00.00 WIB the victim asked to go home but was not allowed by the perpetrator, so the perpetrator asked the victim to take a walk using public transportation to change public transportation three times,” said Galih.
In the end, the victim and perpetrator stopped at a bus stop and boarded the Prima Jasa bus bound for Merak.
“During the journey on the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road, at KM 25-27 the perpetrator asked the bus driver to get off at KM 27,” said Galih.
BROUGHT INTO THE bushes
After successfully getting off the bus, the perpetrator admitted that he wanted to find a way out of the toll road by going through the bushes along the toll road.
Furthermore, said Galih, along the way, the victim whined to be taken home until finally Dika got angry.
Dika started hitting and choking FP until the victim suffered a bruise on the cheek under the left eye. F’s legs and both knees were injured.
That’s when the rape happened.
“AFTER COMPLETING THE ABUSE, THE VICTIMS WAS LEFT IN THE bushes by the perpetrators FIRST FIRST THE ACTORS TAKEN HANDPHONES AND WALLETS CONTAINING RP 400,000,” he explained. AFTER LEAVING, F TRYED TO FIND HELP BY RETURNING TO THE TOLL ROAD.
The culprit was caught
The police have succeeded in securing the perpetrator with the initials BR (36).
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said the perpetrator was arrested on Friday around 08.30 WIB.
“The perpetrator or suspect has been arrested by a team from the Polda Metro Jaya Resmob. The suspect with the initials BR,” said Trunoyudo, Saturday (11/2/2023).
Until now, BR is still being examined by investigators.
“We are still studying the motive, including later we will test it by urine and then this (investigation) process has not stopped,” said Trunoyudo.
